Don't sit home bored this winter break! Join us and up your acting skills during Winter Break Camp.

Learn the art of Foley sound effects and perform the classic play based on the radio series "Cinnamon Bear" during Winter Break Camp at The Laboratory Theater of Florida!

The Laboratory Theater of Florida Education believes in a "whole actor" approach for training actors of all ages. Our camps are led solely by trained actors and education professionals. Campers will learn not just lines and blocking, but set design and build (heavily supervised,) lighting elements and design, stage make-up, costuming, voice modulation and tone, scene study, and more! This particular camp will focus on the Foley method of creating sound effects with everyday objects the way they did in the early days of radio.

Campers must attend all 10 days to be cast in "Cinnamon Bear," but weekly and daily rates are also available. The full session is $300, or $150 per week. Siblings may get a discounted rate of $270 or $135 per week. The daily drop-in rate is $35,00 per day.
